Hydrate yourself: this is what we all hear. I must admit, I rarely drink water throughout the day. I know I should.
A few months ago, I decided to change a few things in my life. The first thing on the schedule was to drink more water. I’m sure that’s on everybody’s list. Guess what? I didn’t go all the way, I started strong: I drank two liters a day and I NEVER felt better in my life. Seriously!
I didn’t know what was really happening. I started feeling more relaxed, my waist line was skinnier, I had more energy and above all my skin was impeccable. Even my complexion improved. Before that, I looked like a pale porcelain doll. Those two liters a day washed away all the stress and fatigue in my life.
After that, I got caught up again in my extremely busy lifestyle. Whenever I thought about drinking water, something else would come up. Something else was more important than drinking water. Little did I know, the best advice is still: hydrate yourself.

At the end of the day, you can drink 2 liters without even noticing. (I tricked myself into drinking more water by getting a fancy water bottle. Mine was pink and it had written Princess on it. I loved carrying it everywhere and I drank for it the whole day.)
There are endless options for water bottles. The best ones are those marked with hours and how much water you should drink in an hour. The water bottles serve as a measure of how much you hydrate yourself in a day.
There are many water robbers you aren’t aware of. Caffeine dehydrates the body. That’s why it is essential to avoid caffeine filled products such as: colas, teas and coffee. Also, alcohol dehydrates the body. Soft drinks fill your system with sugar. So, whenever you’re thirsty stay away from liquids that make you even thirstier, no matter how much you drink.
Set a plan with your buddies, your family or your partner to hydrate more. Drinking water all day will not be as pleasant. It’s hard sipping down when you’re not really thirsty. To motivate yourself even more, encourage people around you to do the same thing. Hydrate yourself using group power – that way, it won’t be as hard.
Make a daily plan. Schedule hours when you need to drink a cup or two. Making a schedule will make you stick to that and you will get on track with hydration in no time. This will make your hydration as a habit and you will do this every day without much thinking.
Hydration is so important. Water is life. That’s why people need to drink more of it. It’s good for your appearance, health and overall happiness. Staying hydrated will make you feel more alive and younger. Such a delicious way to become ageless!
